Ministry Assistant - Ministry Assistant is a church management software package aimed especially at churches with a small group program. It offers many of the features you would expect from church management software, such as tracking membership, visitors, activities, equipping, pastoral care, meetings, library items, and contributions. In addition, the program also helps you keep track of all that is happening in your small group structure. Ministry Assistant features flexible reporting with the option of saving to several popular file formats. It also features mail merge, built-in e-mail to both individuals and groups, and can easily be used in a multi-user environment. The powerful Meeting Manager allows you to keep track of attendance and visitors at your worship services and other church events. Here is some of what the program can help you do: Maintain information about each person and household in your church (including their picture), maintain information about each small group in your church, track small group meetings and attendance, maintain information about the activities and ministries in your church, track attendance at meetings, track visitors to your church, track classes and seminars offered by your church and who attended, track the pastoral care given to persons in your church, track contributions made by the people in your church, keep track of items in your church library. Other features include integration with Microsoft Office products, built-in e-mail support, and full network support.

The license information in this section applies only to the unregistered evaluation version of Ministry Assistant. If you have purchased Ministry Assistant on CD-ROM, or have registered the evaluation version, skip to the section titled REGISTERED OR RETAIL VERSION.

Evaluation License: Ministry Assistant is not a free program. You are hereby granted a limited license to use this version of Ministry Assistant for up to 30 days before you are required to purchase a complete license. If you elect not to purchase Ministry Assistant at the end of 30 days, you must discontinue the use of it and remove it from your computer.

Distribution License: You are hereby granted a limited license to distribute the unregistered evaluation version of Ministry Assistant. See Distributor License Agreement for additional information on the distribution privileges of Ministry Assistant.

REGISTERED OR RETAIL VERSION

As a licensed user of Ministry Assistant, you are entitled to install Ministry Assistant on one machine and enjoy unrestricted use of its capabilities. The Software is "in use" when it is loaded into the temporary memory (i.e., random-access memory or RAM) or installed into the permanent memory (e.g., hard disk, CD-ROM, or other storage device) of that machine. You may also install Ministry Assistant on additional machines provided that it will never be in simultaneous use on more than one machine. If you have registered the evaluation version, please protect your registration codes, as these are intended to be used only by you.

Ministry Assistant may be shared on a local area network or among the personal computers of members of one local congregation, provided that additional licenses are purchased from ChurchAssist Technologies so that each use of the software meets the requirements stated above.

THINGS YOU MAY NOT DO

This software and documentation are protected by United States copyright laws and international treaties. You must treat the software and documentation like any other copyrighted material--for example a book. You may not:

- copy the documentation,

- copy the software except to make archival or backup copies as provided above,

- modify or adapt the software or merge it into another program,

- reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or make any attempt to discover the source code of the software,

- place the software (or license codes) onto a server so that it is accessible via a pubic network such as the Internet, or

- sublicense, rent, lease or lend any portion of the software or documentation.

TRANSFERS

You may transfer all your rights to use the software and documentation to another person or legal entity provided you transfer this Agreement, the software and documentation, including all copies, updates and prior versions to such person or entity and that you retain no copies, including copies stored on computer. You must also inform ChurchAssist Technologies of this transfer, and you may be asked to provide adequate proof of ownership before the transfer is completed.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

The Ministry Assistant application and its accompanying support files are provided "as is" and no warranty of fitness for a particular use or purpose is offered. The entire and exclusive liability implied by this agreement shall be limited to the replacement of defective distribution media. Liability shall not include or extend to any claim for or right to recover any other damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, or use of Ministry Assistant or other software, or special, incidental, or consequential damages or other similar claims, even if ChurchAssist Technologies has been specifically advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will ChurchAssist Technologies' liability for any damages to you or any other party ever exceed the actual price paid for the license to use Ministry Assistant.

ChurchAssist Technologies specifically disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
